JDA RECRUITMENT GUIDELINES
As Australia’s only print-industry specific recruitment consultancy, I am seeking to “refresh” the traditional approach to recruitment. JDA adopts a more user-friendly attitude and offers more flexibility in fees and terms to suit the client.
Coming from the printing industry as I do - fourth generation since the 1890’s in Sydney - I have a good understanding of the suitability of candidates for particular roles.
JDA can also offer industry-specific advice and assistance, unavailable from generalist recruiters.
Set out below are a number of unique key points and benefits which JDA offers to clients:
• An excellent working knowledge of the printing industry.
• All fees negotiable, as every client’s needs are different.
• No fee to exceed 10% of annual package. (Factory-floor staff are less).
• NO FEE IS PAYABLE FOR 30 DAYS AFTER THE CANDIDATE STARTS, giving you a realistic opportunity to assess their performance. If the candidate is not suitable, or leaves during that period, there is no fee. No other recruiter offers this benefit!
For sales reps, where the “success-factor” is more difficult to predict, I recommend a series of part-payments spread over an agreed-upon period.
All first-time job-seekers (e.g. just out of apprenticeship), or mature-age candidates (typically mid 50’s and above) are offered at a discount of 50% off a normal fee, in an attempt to encourage the employment-prospects for such candidates.
